GATEWAY

The Gateway houses the on/off switch for the 3D Smart Shirt and also contains the USB C charging port. The Gateway also communicates via Bluetooth with your iOS device.

The arrow on the Gateway should always face away from the body.

SENSORS

  • Per the 3D Smart Shirt diagram above, the torso sensor plugs into the connector in the upper back pocket of the shirt and the pelvis sensor plugs into the connector in the lower back pocket.
  • The label side must face away from the body, label side out for both sensors.
  • Sensors (and Gateway) are not washable and must be removed before washing the Smart Shirt.

Removing and Reconnecting Gateway and Sensors For Washing

After removing and reattaching the sensors, always turn the gateway off and on!

If you get a "Sensor operation timeout" error after reattaching the sensors, turn the gateway off and on.

Powering the system On and Off.

Turn on Gateway: Press the blue power button for 3-4 seconds, then release when the LED light starts alternating red and green. The light will then blink yellow to indicate the Gateway is on.

Turn off Gateway: Press the blue power button until red light appears, then release.

Charging the system:

Please always use the charging cable included in the 3D Smart Shirt kit! Other cables may not charge the system properly.

Charge the Gateway: Insert the USB-C cable into the charging port next to the LED light. Charge for at least 1hour

Gateway light indicators:

  • Solid Red - Needs charging

  • Blinking Yellow - Gateway is on

  • Pulsating Green - Yellow - Charging in progress
  • Blinking Green - Charging finished

(Note: In the next version, the LED indicator will display a solid yellow light while charging and a solid green light when charging is complete. We will notify you once the new firmware update is available.)

WEARING THE SHIRT

  • The 3D Smart Shirt is a 4 way stretch shirt meant to be worn tight to keep the sensors moving with your body.
  • It is a lightweight moisture wicking fabric and can be worn over or under or over your golf shirt for practice or on-course play.
  • NOTE:  The pelvis sensor should be on the lowest part of your back, right above the sacrum so that it moves with the pelvis. To keep it in place we recommend that it inside your waistband pressed against your lower back with your belt or the elastic part of your pants/shorts/skirt.

WASHING & MAINTENANCE

**ALWAYS REMOVE GATEWAY & SENSORS BEFORE WASHING** (wires in the shirt are washable)

  • After removing the Gateway and both sensors, hand wash the Smart Shirt in lukewarm water with mild detergent. Gateway & sensors are not washable.

  • To dry the garment, place on a dry towel, roll, and gently press to remove excess water.

  • Then hang the garment to dry.

  • Do not wring, bleach, iron or tumble dry the garment.

  • Once the Smart Shirt and cables are completely dry, reattach the gateway and sensors.

  • Always remove Gateway and Sensors before washing

  • The 3D Smart Shirt and cables must be completely dry before charging. Never charge the garment when moist or wet.

  • Do not cover the plug-in adapter with the 3D Smart shirt while charging
