Golf Smart System - Syncing
What is syncing and how does it happen?
Your capture data is stored on your device. When your device is connected to the internet, the app uploads it to our server (= the "cloud"). This enables you to log into the same account and review your captures on different devices.
When Syncing Happens:
- Automatically, when your device is online.
- You can manually force Syncing:
- Go to Settings Screen.
- Press Sync and wait until it's done.
- The app forces Syncing:
- When adding a license code.
- When logging out (you can choose to disable this).
Important Notes:
- The more capture data you have, the longer syncing takes.
- If you don't sync before you delete the app, any unsynchronized captures will be lost.
- When adding a new student, press Sync after adding their profile to ensure their data is saved.
